For the first few weeks of a certain year, some time ago now, I found myself in a surprisingly ‘Ground Hog Day’ kind of conversation with a major social media platform where the customer service was at best ‘generic’ and at worst er non-existent. I couldn’t get over the sheer incompetence that was on offer, a lack of understanding of the issue (any and everything was responded to -when there was a response – with a password reset message), and ‘a can’t be bothered’ attitude about it all. And with my background in comms, it felt doubly jarring.
We can of course, harness every situation for our good (aka dissolving resistance. Yes we’re going there again because we are always going there. Always. Did I mention that it’s always?)
On a practical note while that situation was (not) being sorted I decided to set up a Pinterest account for the sheer experience of it, which was pleasantly therapeutic. I noted that experience.
On a non-practical (not be confused with not useful) note:
My interaction with that situation triggered me into feeling through about ten tonnes of frustration, anger, despair, disappointment and what have you. This is a good thing because I know how it works (and the benefits) so I just dove into the pool of feeling for the full experience of it, knowing that it will only allow a greater expression of my dynamic inner resources (this applies to you too). I also knew that when I finished I would know what to do with this issue. (I deleted the account and started again).
When we feel deeply enough we lose attachment to outcome and then we are in a position to effortlessly supersede current reality for a more preferred one regardless of ‘obstacles’.
When we feel deeply enough we lose attachment to outcome and then we are in a position to effortlessly supersede current reality for a more preferred one regardless of ‘obstacles’ (in this case stupid customer service palaver).
This is the way of the feminine – the more energetic/emotional capacity you generate internally, the safer you feel from within, the more you can receive and hold, and the easier it is to wait out the ‘wait’.
Keep feeling. There is gold in them there hills.
